For London Cocktail Week, head down to The Black Book Wednesday 6th October, from 5pm – 1am
Nocturne, a pre-prohibition-style basement bar located in the heart of South Kensington, comes to Black Book Soho for a night of cocktails, live music and art with Cognac Frapin. Bartender Luca Gilmozzi will take you on a tour of cognac’s long history in cocktails with a menu, of his own twists, of pre-prohibition cocktails.
A special bar snack menu, created by Black Book Soho to complement the Frapin cocktails, will also be on offer. Bertrand Verduzier from Cognac Frapin will be there for anyone who wants to learn more about Frapin and cognac.
A live vocal acoustic set will help to set the scene whilst the art will be courtesy of up-and-coming artist Koni Koleva whose work is on display at Black Book Soho as part of the first of a series of planned exhibitions at the bar.
Cognac Frapin is an award-winning, single estate cognac maker located the heart of the Cognac region. It stands out for its vineyard-to-bottle and human-led approach which impacts on every stage of the production process and results in very special, flavour-driven and smooth cognacs. In safe hands since 1270, Frapin is still owned by the founding family who have grown grapes on the same estate for more than 21 generations.
